Voter Registration

You can register to vote any time up to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

If registering within 14 days of an election (including Election Day), you must register in person at the Helena Township Clerk’s Office with proof of residency.

Absent Voter (AV) Ballots

Any registered voter may request an AV ballot.

Ballot requests by mail must be received by 5 p.m. the Friday before Election Day.

All AV ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Secure ballot drop box available at the Clerk’s Office.


Election Inspectors

Election Inspectors (poll workers) help run elections.

Qualifications: 16+ years old (must be a registered voter if 18+).

Training required.
