Helena Township Pickleball Court Lottery

Fall/Winter 2025–2026

Helena Township is now accepting entries for indoor pickleball court scheduling for the Fall/Winter 2025–2026 season. Court time slots will be assigned by lottery, using a new digital process designed for fairness, clarity, and accessibility.


Important Dates

  • Deadline to Enter: Tuesday, September 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM

  • Public Drawing: Tuesday, September 3, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Township Hall

  • Season Start: Monday, September 8, 2025

    September 8–13 will be first-come, first-served open play.


How to Enter

Helena Township residents may submit up to five preferred time slots using our online entry form:

Only Helena Township residents may submit an entry.

  • You may include non-residents on your team, but the registered entrant must reside in the township.

  • Each household may submit one form.

  • Entry confirmation will be sent by email.


Details

  • Cost: $12 per assigned slot (payable after confirmation)

  • Slot Length: 1.5 hours

  • Total Available Slots: 30

  • Slots are held weekly from Monday through Saturday
    (Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons included)

Note: Friday and Saturday slots may be preempted by hall rentals around holidays. If a conflict arises, we will work with affected teams.


How the Lottery Works

  • Each valid entry is randomized digitally and drawn live at the township office.

  • One slot per person will be assigned during the initial round to ensure fairness.

  • Entrants will be notified by email and must confirm within 48 hours to secure their time.

  • Three additional slots will be held back for new residents and released later in the season.
