Draft Helena Township Board Meeting July 9th, 2020
Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. Members present were Rick Teague, David Peterson, Bonnie Robbins, Cathy Rice and Butch Bartz. Motion by Bartz to approve the agenda and supported by Robbins and approved. Motion by Robbins to approve the corrected minutes and supported by Bartz and approved.

Public Comment: Sheriff Dan Bean reviewed June report for Helena Township.
Treasurer’s Report: beginning balance June 1st, 2020 is $640,940.59
Total receipts: $20,514.35 and total disbursements: $81,973.53
Ending balance as of 06/30/2020 is $579,481.41
Motion to approve the treasurer’s report by Teague and supported by Robbins and approved. Presentation of Bills: June 1-30; $73,032.18 and July 1 -9th; $11,238.45

Zoning: Reviewed zoning report for June, 2020.
Planning Commission: Robbins reported that the Walker Shores storage buildings proposal request for a variance by the ZBA was denied.
Ambulance Authority: No update.
Parks: Ruth Smith presented report from P&R’s July 1st meeting. Kiosk put up at the Coy Mtn. Preserve
Roads: No update.

Teague made the motion to pay the bills and supported by Robbins and approved.
