Helena Township Special Meeting

January 28, 2010

The meeting was called to order at 5:05 pm by supervisor Wagner, the pledge of allegiance was said.  Present: Rice, Wagner, Gurr, Teague. Audience: 7.

Public comment: P. Sak stated he gave a letter of intent for Clerk position.

Three applicants for the Clerk position: David Petersen, Paul Sak, and current Deputy Clerk Ferol Skaggs.  Motion by Gurr, support by Teague to appoint David Petersen as Clerk of Helena Township with a start date of February 15, 2010.  Roll call vote: Rice-yes, Teague-yes, Gurr-yes, Wagner-abstain. Motion carried.

Motion by Rice, support by Gurr to go into close session, as requested by Supervisor,  roll call vote: Rice-yes, Teague-yes, Gurr-yes, Wagner-yes.  Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 5:15pm.

Meeting reopened at 5:23pm.

Statements for new payroll procedures, and discretionary funds were read.
