Public Comment: 1 present. None
Discussion of zoning ordinance points to be addressed. Gurr outlined key points that should be handled in July or August so a public hearing can be scheduled. These points would address digital signs, shoreline language, and Commercial District setbacks. Work group of Gurr, Robbins, Westerman, and zoning administration office staff will work on language for suggestion.
Possible language discussed for greenbelt area as follows:
A pass or walk may be constructed to the water’s edge to a width of eight feet. Any land alterations shall require a permit from the county Soil and Erosion office.
Discussion on need for special use permit and public hearing for digital signs. Agreement that it allows neighbors to have a voice in placement of signs in their neighborhood. This will be discussed further at a future meeting.
