THE PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING IS TO PASS TWO RESOLUTIONS AND AGREEMENT ON SIGNING MOU WITH GRAND TRAVERSE REGIONAL LAND CONSERVANCY
The Resolutions will allow Clark (Butch) Peeples to sign for purchase of three lots that will extend Coy Mountain Preserve. Two lots are under one owner, therefore only two resolutions.
The MOU is to identify the role Helena Township will play in acquiring these lots.
The GTRLC has raised donated funds to cover the purchase price. The township will pay ½ of the closing costs and accept ownership of the parcels.
This expansion will allow us to make a better parking area and possibly a lower trail with ADA access area.
