HELENA TOWNSHIP BUDGET HEARING – 06/15/2016
CALL TO ORDER: 10:04 AM by the Supervisor; Rick Teague
Present: Catherine Rice, Rick Teague, David Peterson, Bonnie Robbins, and Butch Bartz Reviewed STLF district 1. budget for June 2016- June 2017
Teague read resolution 61416A
Rice made the motion to accept the STLF district 1. Budget for June 2016 – June 2017 and set the millage rate at 3 mills for the STLF district 1. with support by Bartz. Roll call vote resulted in five (5) yes votes and motion carried.
Teague reviewed proposed township budget for July 2016 through June 2017. Teague read resolution 61416.Teague made the motion with support by Robbins to accept the township budget for 07/2016 – 06/2017, of $576,447.00, which includes a 5% raise in salary for the Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, Assessor, Zoning Administrator, and township maintenance and an increase for trustees, deputy clerk and deputy treasurer to $500.00. Roll call vote resulted in five (5) yes votes and motion carried.
