Gurr called meeting to order at 7:27 pm
Opened with Pledge of Allegiance.

Old Business:
Presentation from Three Lakes on septic tank inspection code.
Grenetta Thomassey and Dean Branson discussed concerns of phosphorus levels. They advocated for Milton Township ordinance, now in effect for two years. They are offering to set up a public forum to discuss this concern and need for code to require inspections.
Johnson: Does this include water wells?
Branson stated the health department does two tests for bacteria and chemicals.
What percent of tests are considered failed but system still flushes properly?
Branson stated 4 out of 100 tested in Milton were labeled failure.
Milton Township did a survey and there were 30 respondents, all were happy with the new ordinance but 2.
Question for planning commission to consider:
Does the Planning Commission want to engage with Thayer Lake Association, Friends of Clam Lake, Three Lakes Association and Tip o Mitt Watershed Council to have a public discussion of the advisability of point of transfer septic and water inspection?
